About the event

We welcome again this year, this new year, the most energetically bright day of the year, with a practice of 108 greetings!

A ritual that is usually done at new beginnings! Depositing once again, our devotion and love for Yoga or simply living the experience, come be a part of this cycle that begins and ends, under the sound of the breath!

Why 108 !?!  The number 108 is an important symbolic number.

One interpretation is: 1 = Our unique nature. 0 = The emptiness of the mind. 8 = The Infinite.

- The Sun is 108 times larger in diameter than the Earth.

- The average distance of the Moon from the Earth is 108 times the diameter of the Moon.

- There are 108 beads in a Tibetan mala.

- 108 names of Shiva and Buddha.

- 108 Upanishads.

- 108 lines of energy from the heart chakra.

- 108 Indian dance forms.

- 108 the secret number of Pythagoras.

- 108° call to many ancient monuments such as the Parthenon and the Pyramids and many more..

After this beautiful practice of ours, the cutting of the Vasilopita for 2024 will follow!

We are waiting for you with pleasure!
